very simple. Increase the shutter speed. In my dsc its max 30". keep the cam on a still surface. u may set the auto-timer on if u want. it starts capturing. go quickly in the frame after a few seconds while its still capturing. Thats it!
it's easier to take two photos - one with the person and one without. go to photoshop then, put one layer on top of the other and change the opacity to suit your need... modulation of 'degree of ghostness' :D
